What do I do if my rent is late?

Urban City requires that all tenants rent is paid and expected on the 1st of every month. Payment not received by the 5th will be subject to late fees or other charges. You have the option to set up auto payment and report maintenance needs through our user friendly online tenant portal.

How do I handle potential repairs?

You must notify us of any repairs no matter how minor and in a timely manner. The responsibility of the repair will be determined by the terms of your lease. In the event that the landlord is responsible, all repairs will be prioritized with emergencies first. Any neglect or repair that goes unreported causing further damage will incur further charges to your account and may change the liability of the repair and subsequent repairs. We must have access to the premises to perform any repairs or maintenance.

Why do I need Renter's Insurance?

As a renter, you don't own the structure you live in and you are not likely to insure it. The belongings inside your rental, on the other hand, are probably important to you. Renters insurance protects your belongings from loss, damage, or destruction following things like burglaries, fires, water damage, and other covered events. Plus, renters insurance also protects your liability if someone is injured at your rental home or apartment.
