Why do I need Renter's Insurance?
As a renter, you don't own the structure you live in and you are not likely to insure it. The belongings inside your rental, on the other hand, are probably important to you. Renters insurance protects your belongings from loss, damage, or destruction following things like burglaries, fires, water damage, and other covered events. Plus, renters insurance also protects your liability if someone is injured at your rental home or apartment.
